There are so many different types of Business Telephone Systems in the world today.  How do you know which one is right for you and what company can best suit your business needs?  Every day at Midwest Telephone Company we many service calls throughout the Indianapolis Metro Area as well as many of the surrounding cities such as Plainfield, Avon, Greenwood, Greenfield, Carmel, Lafayette, and Muncie.  Most calls involve making programming changes, troubleshooting different issues with the customer’s phone system and sometimes replacing defective equipment. Our company has installed a lot of business telephone systems over the years and if you didn’t already know our flagship product is Panasonic. We have been installing Panasonic business telephone systems since their inception nearly 20 years ago. We love the Panasonic product because we don’t have to explain to you who Panasonic is, everyone has heard the name. Their product is feature rich and they offer the best standard warranty compared to any of the other major brands.

Having been in business for nearly 30 years, we have about 3000 happy active customers that we are servicing in Central Indiana.

Since we have not been fortunate to install a new Panasonic phone system for each of these customers, it goes without saying many of them have different brands of phone systems installed in their business. Because of this, we have adapted over the years to

Since we have not been fortunate to install a new Panasonic phone system for each of these customers, it goes without saying many of them have different brands of phone systems installed in their business. Because of this, we have adapted over the years to servicing all major brands of phone systems. What has kept our customers loyal to us over the years is the fact that we have a 5,000 square foot warehouse where we stock new and refurbished phones and parts from all of the top brands like Panasonic, Avaya, Nec, Samsung, ESI, Toshiba, Nortel, and many more.

Sometimes, the best answer to the best telephone deals is to understand what your needs are… after all, we are all unique.

Also, chances are, we have the parts you need in stock today, minimizing your companies down time.  If we do not have it on hand, we can have it within one business day. Many telecommunications companies out there are not willing to service older legacy phone systems. We believe that this is due to the fact they are unable to source the parts. That is not the case with us. On a regular basis, we run across a lot of customers using Vodavi STS phone systems like the 3500-00, 3501-00, and 3501-01. This phone system only had two options for phones, the 3515-71 and 3516-71.

Another system we come across quite often is the Avaya Parter ACS. Even though this system was discontinued nearly 2 years ago it still continues to be one of the most popular phone systems that ever was installed. There are a couple different variations of this system, the older control units had a part number of 103G, and this unit was configured to handle 3 lines and 8 phones and had revisions ranging from r1-r6. The newer version of this unit was the Avaya Partner ACS 7.0 and 8.0 which had part numbers of 103R and 103G8. Avaya really seemed to have the customer in mind when they released new equipment by making all of their Partner series phones compatible with the newer model control units. The MLS series, Euro Series, and Euro Series II phones all work on the ACS control units. You can learn more here with our blog post on should I buy a refurbished phone?
